GRAND OPENING + CONTAINER PARTY

The doors are officially opening—and a new container has just landed.

Join us at the Magdalene Manor showroom for an afternoon (and morning!) of antiques, champagne, and first dibs on a freshly arrived collection sourced across England and France.

Come wander the showroom, shop pieces before they hit the site, and help us properly christen the Manor.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where should I park?

There are a few parking spaces outside the building, with signs indicating where event parking is available. If those spaces are full, street parking is also available.

If you park on the street, please make sure there is still enough room for cars to pass safely.

We have a surface lot available for parking. There are two lot entrances…one next to the building, and one closer to Franklin Street, across from Handmade Toledo. Street parking is also available, and there’s a (paid) lot on 19th and Adams.

Where is the entrance?

Magdalene Manor is located in Suite 101. Look for the Magdalene Manor sign, which will be visible from the street, and enter through the large overhead door.

What should I wear?

The showroom will be open to the outdoors during the event. The large overhead door will remain open, creating an open-air shopping experience.

We do have air-conditioning, but with the door open, it may not be as effective as usual. We recommend dressing comfortably, as if you were spending time outside.

Do you accept cash?

Magdalene Manor is cashless. We accept card payments only.

Will there be refreshments?

Most importantly, there will be champagne on ice waiting to welcome you. (We’ll also have water and coffee available)

WHAT TO EXPECT.

Come Prepared.

Know your measurements. If you’re shopping for a particular space, bring your room, doorway, elevator, and stair measurements with you.

Everything at Magdalene Manor is one of a kind, and pieces can move quickly. If you love something, we recommend making a decision while you’re here. We can’t guarantee that an item will still be available later in the day—or tomorrow.

Claiming a Larger Piece.

Found the one? Remove the Magdalene Manor price tag from the piece and replace it with a SOLD tag with your name. Sold tags will be available at the front.

Removing a price tag and placing a SOLD tag on an item is a commitment to purchase.

Bring the original price tag to the front when you’re ready to check out.

Small Pieces & Art.

Smaller items, art, tabletop pieces, and accessories can simply be brought to the front when you’re ready to check out.

Need your hands free while you keep shopping? We’re happy to hold pieces for you at our designated hold area.

Please note that placing an item on the hold table is considered a commitment to purchase.

Getting Your Pieces Home.

Planning to take furniture home with you that day? Please arrive with a vehicle large enough for your purchase and bring the help you’ll need to load it safely.

We are a small team and are not staffed to move or load large furniture pieces.

Please measure your vehicle beforehand, too. Antique furniture is notoriously unconcerned with whether it fits in your SUV. (Speaking from experience :) )

Need Delivery? We Can Help.

You absolutely do not have to take everything home yourself.

We’re happy to coordinate.

Local delivery | Regional delivery | Nationwide shipping

Delivery and shipping fees vary depending on the size of the piece and destination. We’ll help arrange the best option and provide pricing at checkout.

One Last Thing.

Every piece in the showroom has been handpicked, one by one.

Nothing is mass-produced, nothing is ordered from a catalog, and there isn’t another one in the back. Each piece was chosen because there was something about it worth bringing home—the age, the craftsmanship, the patina, the provenance, or simply because it was too good to leave behind.

Everything is unique. Everything is one of one.

And when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Every good room needs a past.
