Shipping & Delivery

Magdalene Manor

Last Update: 20 April 2026

Each piece at Magdalene Manor is sourced with intention—and shipped with the same level of care. Due to the age, scale, and material nature of antiques, shipping methods vary by item. We work with trusted carriers to ensure your piece arrives safely, whether by parcel, freight, or white-glove delivery.

Complimentary Parcel Shipping

We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping on eligible parcel items for orders over $299.

This applies to smaller pieces that can be safely shipped via standard carriers (UPS or similar), including:

  • Tabletop and serving ware

  • Small décor and objects

  • Select artwork

Exclusions:

Furniture, oversized items, large mirrors, and pieces requiring freight or white-glove delivery are not eligible for complimentary shipping.

Parcel Shipping (UPS & Standard Carriers)

For items under the parcel threshold:

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination

  • Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days

  • Tracking information will be provided once your order ships

Freight & White-Glove Delivery

Estimated Delivery Timing

Larger pieces—including furniture, oversized artwork, and large mirrors—require specialized transport.

We offer:

  • Freight shipping

  • White-glove delivery

Shipping costs are determined based on:

  • Size and weight of the item

  • Delivery distance

Large furniture, oversized items, and fragile pieces ship via private furniture delivery or freight carriers that specialize in transporting antiques and furnishings.

Shipping estimates are determined using:

  • size and weight

  • distance from our Texas studio

  • delivery location and access

  • handling and protection requirements

For planning purposes, we often calculate freight using regional delivery zones to provide fair, consistent pricing.

Protective Packing & Handling

Certain pieces — particularly large mirrors, artwork, marble, glass, stone, or especially fragile antiques—require specialized packing or custom crating to ensure safe transport.

When additional protection is necessary, a handling or crating charge may be added to cover the materials and labor required to properly secure the item for shipment.

These measures may include:

  • custom wood crating

  • reinforced packaging

  • specialty padding or stabilization

Any applicable crating or handling costs will be clearly indicated on the item’s ‘additional information’, prior to checkout.

These charges reflect the actual cost of materials and preparation, and are not marked up.

Our goal is that your piece arrives safely and beautifully, just as it left us.

Freight deliveries are coordinated along planned driver routes to keep costs reasonable while ensuring each piece is transported safely and securely.

Our typical delivery window is approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on destination and carrier availability. Many deliveries arrive sooner; however, we prefer to provide a conservative estimate rather than rush transport or risk unnecessary handling.

Clients are responsible for:

  • ensuring the item fits their space

  • providing clear and safe access

  • notifying us in advance of stairs, gates, or special requirements

Shipping Philosophy

Magdalene Manor offers both freight delivery for larger furnishings and parcel shipping for smaller items. Because our inventory includes one-of-a-kind antiques of varying size, weight, and fragility, shipping is calculated individually for each piece.

Magdalene Manor does not add markups to freight or shipping charges. Delivery fees are simply passed through at cost based on carrier pricing and logistics requirements. We do our best to estimate accurately and avoid surprises. In the event of small variances between the quoted amount and the final carrier cost, Magdalene Manor absorbs those differences rather than issuing additional charges.

Freight & Furniture Delivery

Large furniture, oversized items, and fragile pieces ship via private furniture delivery or freight carriers that specialize in transporting antiques and furnishings.

Because each antique varies in size and destination, freight delivery is calculated individually, rather than built into product pricing.

Shipping estimates are determined using:

  • size and weight

  • distance from our Texas studio

  • delivery location and access

  • handling and protection requirements

For planning purposes, we often calculate freight using regional delivery zones to provide fair, consistent pricing.

Local Pickup

Complimentary local pickup is available by appointment only.

Magdalene Manor operates as a small studio. Clients are responsible for coming prepared to transport their purchase safely.

Buyers must provide:

  • appropriate vehicle

  • moving blankets or padding

  • straps or tie-downs

  • any necessary assistance for lifting and loading

While light assistance may be offered, Magdalene Manor cannot provide moving services or heavy lifting.

Responsibility Transfer

Once an item is loaded and leaves our premises, all responsibility transfers fully to the purchaser. Magdalene Manor is not liable for damage, loss, or injury occurring during or after pickup.
